BFI Canada Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:BFC.UN) has declared a cash distribution of $0.116875 per Trust unit for the month of October 2004. The distribution will be payable on November 15, 2004 to unitholders of record on October 29, 2004.

The Fund also announced today that it will hold a conference call to discuss third quarter results for fiscal year 2004 on Friday, November 5, 2004. BFI Canada will issue its third quarter results by press release on the afternoon of Thursday, November 4, 2004.

The conference call with analysts and investors will begin at 8:30 a.m. (ET) on Friday, November 5, 2004, during which Keith Carrigan, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Joseph Quarin, Chief Financial Officer, will discuss the Fund's operating and financial results for the third quarter.

Participants may listen to the call by dialing 800-814-4861 at approximately 8:20 a.m. (ET), identifying themselves and asking to be a part of the BFI Canada conference call.
