BFI Canada Income Fund announced the appointment of Martin Irish as Vice President, Ontario and Manitoba. Martin will be responsible for overseeing all waste management operations in these provinces.
Most recently, Martin served as President of the two subsidiaries of a publicly traded cement producer in Indonesia, where he orchestrated significant operational and financial improvements in the company's Logistics and Ready-mix Concrete activities. From 1994 to 1997, Martin served in Canada as a Divisional Vice-President with the Fund's predecessor company. His earlier work experience includes senior responsibilities with Browning-Ferris Industries, Inc. in Italy, the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia.
